Thunder Rosa was planning to defend the AEW Women’s World Title against Toni Storm at All Out, in a highly anticipated match. However, she had to pull out from the match due to injury.

Rosa is still the Women’s Champion and will face the new Interim AEW Women’s World Champion at a later date to unify the titles. While speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that, had she competed, Thunder Rosa was going to lose the title at AEW All Out.

The AEW Women’s division lost a lot of ground when Britt Baker lost the title, the interest level went down. They were going to make a change. If Rosa was on the show, she was going to lose.

We will have to wait and see who will become the Interim Women’s Champion at AEW All Out, as Toni Storm, Britt Baker, Hikaru Shida and Jamie Hayter are all viable contenders. If anything, we know that AEW was already planning to make a big change.
