Swerve Strickland was the leader of Hit Row in Triple H’s version of NXT. Strickland also won the NXT North American Championship during his time in the black and gold brand. Unfortunately, he didn’t got the opportunity to showcase his potential on the main roster because WWE released him from his contract.

Strickland waited for several months and eventually showed up in Tony Khan’s AEW. Strickland started solo, but ended up tagging with Keith Lee. The duo won the AEW World Tag Team Championship in a triple threat tag team match that also involved The Young Bucks and Powerhouse Hobbs and Ricky Starks.

Strickland was recently asked about his intention to return to WWE. The question popped after Johnny Gargano made his surprise to WWE last night on Raw. Strickland had a one-word answer to the fan who insisted he’ll make it back to WWE in Triple H’s regime.

Nope

Swerve Strickland has previously trolled a fan who said he was ‘wasting away’ in AEW. Do you think Swerve Strickland will jump ship to WWE not that Triple H is in-charge of the promotion’s creative direction?
