Johnny Gargano Has His Eyes Set On WrestleMania After WWE Return

Johnny Gargano was touted as the heart and soul of NXT by many fans due to his excellent feuds with the likes of Tommaso Ciampa, Adam Cole and more. He competed in numerous solid matches and truly made NXT what it was for so many years.

After 9 months of speculation as to where Gargano would go next following his WWE departure, Gargano made his return to WWE on this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW.

Gargano was interviewed backstage in a WWE Digital Exclusive after the show ended. Gargano stated that he came back to win titles as well as compete at WrestleMania.

“I said that I came back for a lot of different reasons, but first of all I wanted to be Intercontinental Champion, United States Champion, WWE Champion, and I want to wrestle at WrestleMania. There is only one place you can do that, and that is here in WWE. That is why I came back. That is why I am beyond proud to be here.”

Gargano took out Austin Theory on this week’s show, so we wonder whether he will feud with Theory first or not. Fans are simply glad to be living in Triple H’s era of WWE and that’s what matters right now.
