AEW made its debut in October 2019 and since then has worked hard to provide an alternate product to what fans see in WWE. A lot of changes have taken place since their inception as well. AEW was also criticized for having too many people on its roster.

There is no doubt that AEW has a very deep and diverse roster of talented in-ring performers from all over the world, incorporating various styles of pro wrestling. However, the company has signed more talent than it can handle now.

While speaking on Keepin’ It 100 with Konnan, WWE Hall Of Famer Road Dogg talked about AEW’s current roster. He criticized the company for having too many people.

“The production of the show, not how you produce and execute the creative, but the production of the show is horrible. I have been very, very open to saying that. From a television point of view, and you can not like me for saying it, you can not like me for whatever you want to not like me for, but WWE is good TV. I think you could bring, I know I could bring, that good TV and execute it from a production and a camera standpoint to them. I just think they have too many people. I lose track of who all they are, They don’t focus on one. They tell the long term story, but the only reason they do that is because each guy’s only on TV every four weeks.”

We will have to wait and see how many talents Tony Khan will keep on signing to AEW in the coming months. For the time being, perhaps AEW should stop signing so much talent.
