Jeff Jarrett made his return to WWE in May 2022, working backstage with the company. Now it seems as if his tenure with the WWE has come to a halt.

According to Brad Shepherd’s Unleashed patreon, Jeff Jarrett has been let go by the WWE. He was recently appointed to a VP role, running WWE live events.

A source in WWE told me that Jeff Jarrett was let go by WWE.

Jarrett was recently hired into a V.P. role running WWE’s live events.

Jarrett was the special guest referee at WWE’s SummerSlam in Nashville, Tennessee, in the tag team match between the Uso’s and Street Profits. The following night, he teamed with Jay Lethal in ‘Ric Flair’s Last Match’ against Flair and Andrade El Idolo.

The 2018 WWE Hall of Fame inductee also had a short return to the company in January 2019 as a backstage producer. He was in that year’s Royal Rumble as the number 2 entrant. This led to a short feud with Elias, which ended with Elias beating Jarrett, but Jarrett got the upper hand by bashing Elias after the match with a guitar.

With Jarrett’s history of making runs in independent scenes, it should be believed that he will be making appearances elsewhere in the near future. If not, he always has his podcast, ‘My World’, to go back to.

Will Jeff Jarrett make an independent return? Will he show up in a different company? Let us know what you think in the comment section below!
