WWE Makes Big Change To Planned SmackDown Match

The final match in the first round of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship tournament is scheduled to take place tonight on SmackDown. Unfortunately, due to several setbacks, the plans had to be altered. Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne are now set to replace Zoey Stark and Nikkita Lyons in the WWE Women’s Tag Team tournament.

The Heartbreak Kid took to social media and dropped a video. He started off by thanking everyone for making NXT Heatwave a huge success. He then pointed out the setbacks that come along with success.

Michaels said that Zoey Stark sustained an injury in her match with Mandy Rose for the “NXT” Women’s Championship on NXT 2.0 this week. It also came to his attention that Nikkita Lyons is medically unavailable.

Stark and Lyons will not perform on SmackDown tonight. Instead, Jacy Jayne and Gigi Dolin of Toxic Attraction will fill in.
