Gunther successfully retained his Intercontinental Championship against Shinsuke Nakamura on last week’s episode of SmackDown. The Austrian champion may not have long to celebrate, as the new regime in WWE is already setting up his next challenger.
It was announced that a Fatal Five-Way match will determine who will face Gunther at Clash at the Castle next month. The competitors in the match are Ricochet, Madcap Moss, Sheamus, Happy Corbin, and Sami Zayn. WWE made the announcement earlier today.

Ricochet teased last week that he plans on recapturing the Intercontinental Championship before he was attacked by Happy Corbin. The former IC champ was the one who lost the title to Gunther on the June 10th edition of Smackdown.
