Ric Flair is a two-time WWE Hall Of Famer and has accomplished a lot in the industry. He still remains a controversial figure nonetheless. He also doesn’t have a high opinion of The Ultimate Warrior.
The Ultimate Warrior is one of the more divisive figures in WWE history, and he was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2014, before he sadly passed away just a few days later.
While speaking on his To Be The Man podcast, Ric Flair explained why he believes that The Ultimate Warrior should not be in the WWE Hall Of Fame. He used WWE suing Warrior along with “political stuff” to make his point.
“I mean, here’s the deal, you hold up the company, then you sue them – which he [The Ultimate Warrior] did, and then you end up in the Hall of Fame… There’s a lot of people in the Hall of Fame that are there for – I can’t figure out any rhyme or reason why they would be other than political stuff is gone awry politically and they’re always wanting to heal damaged situations, which I admire them for.”
“But, it certainly doesn’t mean that someone needs to be in the Hall of Fame. To me that should be based on skill, ability and what you’ve done in the business,”
Ric Flair wrestled his last match last month and was satisfied with it as well. We’ll have to see what the future holds for The Nature Boy, now that he is retired for good.
