Vince McMahon was the CEO of WWE for several years and ruled the company with an iron fist. Everything that went on in the company went through him, especially the scripts. Eric Bischoff detailed his experience working with McMahon recently.
The former Chairman stepped down and retired from WWE after a lot of scandals finally caught up with him. Triple H was then made the Creative head of the company.
While speaking on the “Strictly Business” podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Eric Bischoff recalled Vince McMahon getting upset over small typos in rough drafts of WWE scripts.
“You go to Vince with a rough draft, because maybe you’ve only had 20 minutes to produce it before you have a meeting.
It’s a rough draft, but there is a comma missing. ‘G*ddamn. A third grader wrote this.’ It’s a rough draft! Come on, we’ll put a common in the final chapter, I promise! You know, but that’s a pet peeve, and I think some of the banned words and banned terminologies, some of it makes sense.”
Chris Jericho also believes Vince McMahon is a once in a generation genius. Triple H is now in charge, and fans couldn’t be happier about that fact. We’ll have to see what other changes are in store.
