Jay Lethal is a true veteran in the world of professional wrestling after competing for over twenty years now. He established himself as one of the stars of the X-Division in TNA, and then became one of the top talents in ROH as well. Tony Khan was also blasted for dropping the ball on Jay Lethal once again.

Lethal then shocked the world as he made his debut at AEW Full Gear last year. Jim Cornette even previously stated that Tony Khan finally did something right by signing Jay Lethal to AEW. He even blasted WWE for letting AEW sign Jay Lethal in the first place

However, Jay Lethal has not had the best of times in AEW. He did have high profile matches against Cody Rhodes and Jon Moxley and is now aligned with Sonjay Dutt and Satnam Singh.

On last week’s AEW Dynamite, he tried to sneak up on Wardlow after a verbal confrontation but was decimated by Wardlow and FTr. While speaking on The Jim Cornette Experience, Cornette blasted AEW for dropping the ball on Jay Lethal.

“I mean they’re… they’ve about dropped this ball completely. They’ve… they had the opportunity like they’ve had with so many other guys they brought in that have talent. Just start using him [Jay Lethal] the right way from the beginning. Don’t bring him in, don’t bring any of these guys in and beat him three or four times on television and then stick him in an angle.”

We will have to wait and see when Jay Lethal will get another shot at Wardlow’s TNT Championship. Regardless, Lethal simply isn’t being used the way fans would have liked.
