Pete Dunne was one of the best stars in NXT UK, where he held the NXT UK Champion for 685 days. He made his way to NXT, where he took part in several memorable feuds and matches. He also hinted at reverting back to his old gimmick.

The Bruiserweight made his way to Friday Night Smackdown back in March. To the shock of fans, his name was changed to Butch. Unsurprisingly, fans dragged WWE for the decision.

Triple H was made the top person in charge of WWE Creative after Vince McMahon’s retirement and this was a cause of celebration for many.

As such, Pete Dunne took to Twitter and uploaded a photo of himself and Ridge Holland attacking Oney Lorcan (Biff Busick) and Danny Burch on the September 7, 2021 edition of NXT. Many fans believe Dunne hinted at returning to his ‘Bruiserweight’ gimmick.
