Zoey Stark has been one of the mainstays of NXT television for a long time now. She was sidelined back in November of last year, as Stark had legitimately suffered an injury. She also took on a backstage role during her absence.
The veteran star made her return last month on NXT television. She won a battle royal match and earned the right to challenge Mandy Rose for her NXT Women’s Championship as well.
While speaking on WWE After The Bell With Corey Graves, Zoey Stark was working as a producer in NXT while she was still recovering from her injury.
“Well, to become a better performer number one. I knew I was going to come back and I knew producing was going to help me inside the ring. You know, when you coach somebody, two people are learning. And I’m learning at the same time because now I’m really having to think about it. It’s amazing to be able to do both sides and then you get a different side, and like ‘Oh, this is what producers have to go through, I had no idea.'”
Zoey Stark will be challenging Mandy Rose for the NXT Women’s Championship on NXT Heatwave on NXT television this coming Tuesday. We’ll have to see who’ll win the match in the end.
