Matt Riddle Will Address His Future In WWE On Raw This Week

Matt Riddle was scheduled to face off against Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins at SummerSlam, but a kayfabe injury caused the match to be postponed. Reports suggest that the Riddle vs. Rollins match may occur at Clash at the Castle. However, nothing has been confirmed at this point.

WWE announced that Riddle suffered a “brachial plexus injury” after being assaulted by Rollins before SummerSlam. Although Rollins has said Riddle will be on the shelf for quite some time, The Original Bro’s appearance tomorrow night on Raw may suggest otherwise.

This Monday on Raw, Riddle will return to address his future in WWE. The company has teased that The Original Bro’s “future is unclear” following his “injury.” Rollins said last week that he might put Riddle on the injury shelf for good.

In addition to the Riddle segment, United States Champion Bobby Lashley will defend his title against AJ Styles. The Phenomenal One defeated The Miz in a no disqualification match to close on last week’s episode of Raw. This will mark the first time that Lashley and Styles have battled one-on-one.

Also, the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship tournament continues with Asuka and Alexa Bliss taking on the team of Nikki A.S.H. and Doudrop. It’ll be interesting to see if Bayley’s new faction will make their presence known during the match. You can check out the card for tomorrow’s Raw below.
