Austin Theory worked hard to establish himself as one of the most gifted young stars in WWE. He got his first break back in NXT thanks to Johnny Gargano’s The Way and soon found himself on the main roster as Vince McMahon’s protégée.

Vince McMahon was forced to retire last month after a slew of allegations were made against him. In turn, Stephanie McMahon was made the CEO of WWE while Triple H was made the head of Creative.

While speaking with Denise Salcedo of Instinct Culture, Theory addressed the new era of WWE. He stated that he feels WWE needs to be fresher and newer now that McMahon has retired.

“Change can always scare people because it’s different and there’s not that comfort level of what you’re used to, but with change, and with somebody like Stephanie, Nick Khan, Triple H, and Bruce Prichard, there is so much creativity there that we haven’t seen. It’s time to have something fresher and newer. It’s a bunch of different minds now and I feel there is no better group of people to takeover.”

Triple H is clearly the head of WWE Creative, and the changes reflect that already. We will have to wait and see how WWE will keep on introducing changes in the coming months.
