Sidelined AEW Star Now Medically Cleared & Returning To Action

AEW has a diverse roster full of talent, sadly a lot of injuries have plagued the locker room in recent memory. Now one star is set to make their return.

Penelope Ford used to be on AEW television practically every week, but her screen time was phased out in a lot of ways. The last real notable angle she was a part of consisted of her wedding to Kip Sabian, someone else who hasn’t been wrestling.

It seems that fans of Penelope Ford won’t have to wait long to see her back in the ring. The last time Ford competed was on January 15th’s episode of AEW Dark. She beat Angelica Risk during that match, but then she was taken off television due to an undisclosed medical issue.

Penelope Ford was deemed “not medically cleared,” and now she is back at it. Ford competed in the AEW Elevation tapings which should air this week. Fans of Ford will be happy to hear this news.

Ford took on Heather Reckless during the tapings. Kip Sabian was even there at ringside with that cardboard box on his head. The married couple had a brief interaction during the match as well.

AEW determined early on that fans tuned in to see Penelope Ford, because her segments got consistently good ratings. Sadly, she hasn’t been seen much, but there’s always the future for that to change for the AEW original.
