Cody Rhodes became one of the mainstays of Monday Night RAW after returning to WWE at WrestleMania 38. He went on to have solid matches with Seth Rollins and elevated himself. His return might have been spoiled as well.

The American Nightmare was on a roll since his return, but has not been seen since Hell In A Cell due to a torn pectoral muscle. He underwent surgery for the same and will be out of action for a long time.

While fans anticipated his return won’t be until next year, a tweet from the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto has people wondering if Rhodes might just return sooner than expected.

The tweet advertises yet another singles match between Rhodes and Rollins for the upcoming August 22 edition of Monday Night RAW. This is despite the fact that Rhodes isn’t an active member of the roster right now. While it is highly unlikely Rhodes will return, we’ll have to see what will happen on the August 22nd episode of RAW.
