Adam Cole is certainly one of the most skilled in-ring competitors in the pro wrestling world right now. He left NXT last year and made his way to AEW, which certainly made fans happy. Cole is still not cleared for in-ring action even now.

Cole competed in a fatal four-way match for the IWGP World Heavyweight title at Forbidden Door, despite being injured before the match. The match led to him suffering a concussion as well, and he hasn’t returned to in-ring competition yet.

Cole returned on AEW Dynamite last week and got physical as well. While speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that Adam Cole is still not cleared to compete, but should be back soon.

“The guys are coming back. Punk’s back tonight, Omega’s coming back soon. Danielson’s gonna be on (next week’s Dynamite), Adam Cole was on TV last week, and he’s not cleared yet but he should be cleared relatively soon from what I understand. So the key guys are pretty much back.”

Adam Cole also isn’t going to need surgery for his torn labrum. It remains to be seen when he will return, because fans are eagerly waiting to see him back in action as soon as possible.
