Erick Redbeard, the former Erick Rowan, was released by WWE back in April 2020, as part of COVID-19 budget cuts. Since then, he returned to the independent circuit. He also hinted at making a return to WWE.

Erick Redbeard has made a few appearances on AEW television. The first time was during the Brodie Lee tribute show back in December 2020. After that, he appeared back in March of this year.

While speaking to Dr Chris Featherstone, Erick Redbeard was asked about returning to WWE now that Triple H is in charge of WWE Creative. Redbeard hinted at returning to WWE as well.

“If the opportunity called for certain things and it was creatively beneficial to the both of us, absolutely.”

With Triple H hiring previously-released WWE Superstars as of late, it would not be far-fetched to believe Erick Redbeard could be returning as well. It remains to be seen what Redbeard will do in the end.
