Team Taz formed in All Elite Wrestling during the pandemic era. Ricky Starks was the first member of the group and soon expanded with  Brian Cage, Powerhouse Hobbs and Taz’s son Hook.

Dissention peaked after Hobbs turned on Ricky Starks last month on Dynamite. Starks lost the FTW Championship to Hook during an impromptu match and was assaulted by Hobbs after the match.

It was then revealed that Team Taz officially broke up. While speaking on the latest episode of The Jim Cornette Experience, Jim Cornette blasted AEW for making the team meaningless.

Well but now you’ve taken guys that are talented but have been basically non-entities especially [Powerhouse] Hobbs and instead of getting them over as a unit and then turning one on the other, when you’ve just split them up when they’re meaningless now so that means the split is meaningless.

We will have to wait and see how all three stars will be booked in the coming weeks as they are all on their own now.
