Kevin Nash knows a thing or two about the pro wrestling business, because the WWE Hall of Famer has seen the entire landscape shift a time or two. Now Kevin Nash has commented on one of WWE’s flaws as one of his best friends took creative control of the company.
The Game was made the top person in charge of WWE Creative after Vince McMahon retired. WWE fans have demanded Triple H be in control of creative for a very long time, so they were certainly elated.
While speaking on a recent episode of his podcast, Kliq This, Kevin Nash criticised Monday Night RAW for being too long. Nash suggested that it is actually harming WWE.
“I think one of the problems that the company has right now is that Raw is three hours long. I thought that was the demise of Nitro when it went three hours. Three hours is too long, it’s like asking your fanbase every Monday to watch f*cking Titanic or Avatar. It’s just too f*cking long. I would love to see a breakaway of Raw and have Raw be a mature, M-rated show and be played on Friday nights on FX. I don’t know where they could get a deal with.”
Triple H’s creative changes in WWE are also expected to be very aggressive. We will have to wait and see whether Monday Night RAW will eventually revert to a 2-hour format or not. If anything, Triple H himself said that he would nix RAW’s third hour years ago. Only time will tell if he makes that happen.
