Kenny Omega has been working hard along with video game developer Yuke’s to ensure the upcoming AEW game for consoles will be in the best state possible when it releases.
As previously reported, the AEW video game will be released sooner than expected. According to Sean Sapp behind Fightful’s paywall, AEW had no idea about the ‘AEW: Fight Forever’ cover until it was leaked.
Fightful Select learned that THQ Nordic’s team designed the cover, as opposed to All Elite Wrestling’s graphics team. People within AEW didn’t even know until the cover was leaked the day before that the cover athletes would be featured, and that goes for the actual athletes themselves.
The game will release on PS5, Xbox Series, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC. It remains to be seen whether the game will become a hit with fans and critics alike. This is certain to be a big seller with pro wrestling fans.
