Bryan Danielson is a true veteran in the world of professional wrestling, as he has perfected his in-ring skills in various pro wrestling companies over the years. The American Dragon truly loves what he does for a living. He also chose AEW over WWE for a good reason.

After a legendary career in WWE spanning multiple world title reigns, Bryan Danielson decided to sign with AEW. He debuted during AEW All Out last year and has been one of the highlights of AEW television since then.

While speaking to “Renee Paquette on The Sessions,” The American Dragon explained why he decided to sign with AEW over re-signing with WWE.

“So people think I had two options between WWE and AEW, and the reality was I was considering three options, which was WWE, AEW, or just not being a full-time wrestler anymore and being more of a full-time dad. When I told that to Brie with the money that each company was offering to me, I think she might’ve wanted to kill me.

Danielson revealed that a lighter schedule, more creative freedom, and the chance to change things and try something new were why he signed with AEW in the end. Bryan Danielson recently lost to Daniel Garcia after some help from Jake Hager. We will have to wait and see how he will be booked in the coming weeks for everyone involved.
