Vince McMahon made headlines in June after it was discovered that he secretly paid $3 million as a settlement to a departing employee. Due to this, McMahon was under investigation, and he had to retire. Paul Heyman also believes a lot of people are rich thanks to Vince McMahon.

It was later revealed that McMahon also paid $12 million in hush money to several women over the last twenty years. This was the last straw for many people, ultimately leading to McMahon’s downfall.

While speaking on the MackMania podcast, Paul Heyman stated that there are a lot of wealthy people in WWE thanks to Vince McMahon’s work ethic.

“I think there is a locker room and an office filled with fabulously wealthy people thanks to the 22 hour work day of Vince McMahon for the past 40 years. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about Vince McMahon. What a hypocrite I would be to say anything less than extraordinarily complimentary (things) about that man. His work ethic, his willingness to put in 20, 22 hours a day, every day, seven days a week, 365 days a year, for 40 years is why we are all fabulously wealthy. He’ll never get the credit or understanding that he truly deserves and he earned.”
