Vince McMahon fumbled the ball on many Superstar pushes as he either gave them a terrible creative idea or he simply lost interest. It’s not clear what Vince was thinking when he got a hold of Karrion Kross, but it didn’t amount to much. Now it appears Kross’ second run in WWE could be on the horizon.

According to Sean Sapp behind Fightful’s paywall, signs are pointing toward Karrion Kross making a return to WWE now that Triple H, a man who knew how to book Kross, is in charge.

The former NXT Champion had been discussed as a name of interest for WWE to bring back to the company. Several within the industry outright expected him to return, and one source indicated they believed it was already in the company’s plans, though we’ve yet to confirm that whatsoever. We were able to confirm that his name had at least been discussed on WWE’s end.

Kross was scheduled for an ROH appearance at Supercard of Honor, and he was contacted about an AEW booking, but he passed on that opportunity to be a guy Wardlow beat on his way to MJF. Karrion Kross did take a few MLW and NJPW dates.

We’ll have to see what the future holds, but even Karrion Kross has teased a WWE return. Only time will tell how Triple H changes things, but the WWE roster will likely look very different in a few months.
