Madison Rayne retired from the pro wrestling world after Impact Wrestling’s Hard To Kill back in 2021. She is also a true veteran who has more than a decade of experience in the industry. Tony Khan is also okay with her wrestling in AEW.

As previously reported, Madison Rayne was brought into AEW as a women’s coach to help bolster the weak division. Many fans were glad about this decision simply because of the wealth of knowledge she possesses.

While speaking on Busted Open Radio, Tony Khan discussed adding Rayne to the team and whether she’ll wrestle. Khan made it clear that he is more than open to Rayne wrestling in the company.

“I’m really excited. She’s going to be great for the team. She’s excited. Everyone is excited to have Madison Rayne as part of AEW. I’m not saying she wouldn’t wrestle anymore, we’re open to it. We have other people in the office who do wrestle as part of their schedule, so I’m open to it. I haven’t talked a lot about it because right now, I’m primarily focused on the whole company, but it’s definitely something I’m open to and would like,

With AEW’s women’s division being in dire straits, Madison Rayne just might be what the doctor ordered and we don’t mean Britt Baker here. We’ll have to see how the division will improve in the coming weeks.
