Vince McMahon retired from WWE last week, and this sent shockwaves across the pro wrestling world. Triple H was then made the EVP of Talent and Relations as well as the head of creative. Now the USA Network is preparing for a big episode of RAW.
WWE SummerSlam already showed signs of Triple H’s handiwork, largely due to the return of Dakota Kai and Iyo Sky, as well as Brock Lesnar destroying the ring with a tractor.
Wrestle Votes took to Twitter and reported that the USA Network is giving this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW the option to have no commercials for its first hour, should they choose not to have any.
I’m told RAW tonight looks really good as of now, and is a packed show. So much so, USA Network is allowing the 1st hour to be commercial free if WWE wants.
This week’s RAW will also be a ‘statement show.’ We’ll have to see whether this week’s show will mark the beginning of better things to come or not.
