Ric Flair has done it all in the pro wrestling world, and his name continues to carry a lot of weight. He has faced the best of the best in his decades-long career. He also wasn’t able to perform more moves in his final match.

The Nature Boy competed in the final match of his long, illustrious career. He teamed up with Andrade El Idolo to square off against Jay Lethal and Jeff Jarrett in Nashville on July 31st.

Ric Flair took some scary bumps and even bled during the match, something that he promised to do as well. When all was said and done, Ric Flair won the match, but he was a bit shaken up.

While speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that Ric Flair chose not to do a superplex after Jay Lethal hit him with a vertical suplex.

He took that one vertical suplex and I think they were going to do a superplex. He came back down and didn’t want to take it. He took a normal suplex. He never got to his feet again after that one vertical suplex.

Bryan Alvarez then noted that after the match, Ric Flair mouthed to Andrade El Idolo “I blacked out.” Hopefully, things are okay for him in the long term.

Doctors were also waiting to check on Flair after his final match. Now that Ric Flair finally finished his last match, we certainly hope he doesn’t decide to step back in the ring again, because that was a lot of worry to deal with.
