Jonathan Gresham recently threw a tantrum backstage on ROH owner Tony Khan. At the Death Before Dishonor pay-per-view, Gresham blew up on Khan after frustrations over alleged poor communications with the company. The former ROH champion asked for his release before dropping the ROH World Championship to Claudio Castagnoli.

Gresham said he thought black talent has been treated unfairly in wrestling shortly before the show. He was visibly upset when he made his entrance at the ROH PPV. It seems like things fell apart quickly.

During a recent virtual signing event with Highspots, AEW star Eddie Kingston discussed his thoughts on Jonathan Gresham. Kingston does have a history with The Octopus, having wrestled a few times on the independents. Even before the incident between Jonathan and Tony Khan, The Mad King said Gresham rubs him the wrong way and he has a bad feeling about him.

“Gresham — I don’t know, man, he just rubs me the wrong way. I don’t know. I just have a bad feeling.”

Eddie Kingston has never been one to parse his words when it comes to his feelings about other wrestlers. He has been open about his distaste for many of his coworkers. Jonathan Gresham is now a part of that list.

Since his fight with Tony Khan, Gresham has been removed from plans for AEW and ROH. His future remains to be seen, but Eddie Kingston had a bad feeling all along.
