Dakota Kai was one of the highlights of NXT television as she consistently put on solid matches during her time with the company. However, WWE released Dakota Kai from her NXT contract back in May. That hiatus away from WWE ended at SummerSlam.

Fans wondered where Kai was going to end up next. The unbelievable happened as Dakota Kai made her shocking return to the company alongside Bayley and Io Shirai.
AEW star Tay Conti took to Twitter and replied to a fan who asked her about Dakota Kai’s return. Conti made it clear she is very happy for Kai and can’t wait to wrestle her in the future.
“So damn happy for her, I Love KotaKai !! Can’t wait to wrestle her again
We will have to wait and see how WWE will be booking Dakota Kai and Io Shirai now that they are back in WWE. It is very interesting that Conti said she wants to wrestle Kai in the future, because she’s with AEW right now. Fans are certainly excited to see what they can accomplish in Triple H’s era of WWE.
