The 35th annual SummerSlam premium live event is going down tonight in Nashville, Tennessee. WWE has already announced a solid lineup for the second biggest show of the year.
According to PW Insider, Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar are set to close SummerSlam 2022. The two will collide in a Last Man Standing Match for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.
The current plan to close the 2022 WWE Summerslam PPV is Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar. The semi-main event is Liv Morgan vs. Ronda Rousey for the Smackdown Women’s Championship. Obviously, WWE could switch the match plans, but as of five minutes ago, that was the locked in direction for the final matches of the show.
As previously noted, Becky Lynch and Bianca Belair will open the main show. The E.S.T will defend the Raw Women’s Championship against Big Time Becky in what could be a potential show stealer.
