Baron Corbin has been part of the company for a decade now, and the company can fully depend on him for performing any role they require of him. He gets a lot of heat and is very good at what he does. Corbin is also grateful for all of his haters.
Corbin eventually changed into Happy Corbin and has been one of the most hated heels in WWE. He has been in the company for nearly a decade, but still hasn’t won a major World Title. Thankfully, he still manages to keep himself relevant even now.
While speaking with TV Insider, Happy Corbin talked about the evolution of his character in the company. Corbin stated that he believes his haters are why he succeeds.
“There are a lot of doubters in my world about my ability or whatever they want to complain about. That’s a pat on the back for me because I’m continuing to find success within WWE thanks to the doubters and haters because I’m the bad guy.
I’m not their favorite. I’m not doing 800 moves they want to see. I don’t let social media influence anything I do on television. It all helps play to my success. I’m going to do me no matter what.”
Happy Corbin is set to face off against Pat McAfee in a match at SummerSlam. It remains to be seen how the match will turn out to be.
