Finn Balor is a true veteran in WWE, as he had humble beginnings as part of NXT. He won the NXT Championship twice and also saw some success on the WWE main roster. He was also deeply hurt after WWE left him out of WrestleMania 37.

Last year’s WWE WrestleMania was a two-night show, taking place at the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida. It was headlined by Roman Reigns as he defended his WWE Universal Title against Edge and Daniel Bryan.

It marked the first show in over a year to have a live audience after the COVID-19 pandemic began. It also did not feature Finn Balor on the card. While speaking on The Ringer’s Cheap Heat podcast, Finn Balor stated that he was deeply hurt after being left out of WrestleMania 37.

“I think last year I wasn’t involved in ‘Mania, and I’ll be honest, that deeply hurt, deeply hurt. The fact that, you know, I show up for every TV, every house show, every overseas tour, you know, every media appearance, and then to be left off two nights of WrestleMania, that hurt.”

Finn Balor will team up with fellow Judgment Day member Damian Priest and square off against The Mysterios at WWE SummerSlam. We’ll have to see how he will fare in the match.
