Triple H is one of the most accomplished performers in the WWE. The Game is a 14-time world champion, two-time Royal Rumble winner, and a Hall of Famer as part of D-Generation X. He recently got a lot of new responsibilities, but his previous cardiac episode is still a concerning factor.
The Cerebral Assassin replaced Vince McMahon as WWE’s head booker on July 25th, 2022. Vince had been leading the company’s creative charge since buying WWE from his father way back in 1982.
Triple H was in Nashville for the latest session of WWE tryouts. The Game was joined by former WWE Champion Big E and co-CEO Nick Khan. Triple H also took questions from reporters.
The Evolution leader was asked about his health by Ariel Helwani of BT Sport. Triple H said he was feeling 100% percent and had a newfound appreciation for life since he had a procedure done on his heart in September 2021.
“I feel great. You know, glitch in the road. Luckily for me, it was caught. It took a lit bit to get over it, to get past it but I’m past it, I’m over it. I got a clean bill of health. I’m a hundred percent. I’m very aware of all of it
I’m really aware of what’s important in your life, in your family, in everything else. But I love this business. For me, I approach it a little bit differently now. I get this thing that you call sleep, every now and then. It’s really helpful.”
Triple H announced his retirement from professional wrestling after he suffered a cardiac event that almost cost him his life. The good thing is that he’s back to being a hundred percent because that’s what matters at the end.
