Ric Flair Believes Randy Orton Is More Likely To Break His World Title Record Than John Cena

Randy Orton has accomplished a lot of things during his two-decade run with the WWE. He has won multiple titles and taken part in several iconic moments in the company’s history as well. Ric Flair also has a high opinion of Randy Orton.

The Viper is currently a 14-time World Champion in WWE and is close to Ric Flair and John Cena’s record of 16 World Title reigns. Fans wonder whether he will end up beating their records as well.

While speaking on Insight with Chris Van Vliet, Ric Flair explained why he believes Randy Orton will break his record and not John Cena.

“I don’t think so. I don’t think they will ever give it to a part-time performer. I think that Randy Orton has a better shot at it, Randy will come back, he has to have surgery. But I certainly wouldn’t be offended because the real number is 21. They all have a way to go. But I love John Cena, he is a such a credible performer and just one of the great guys in the business.”

Randy Orton could also miss out on the remainder of this year due to his injury. We’ll have to see if Orton will end up beating John Cena and Ric Flair’s record or not.
