Vince McMahon made headlines last month after he secretly paid $3 million as a settlement to a departing employee. Because of this, McMahon was under investigation, and Mr. McMahon eventually had to retire to save ace. Kurt Angle also commented on McMahon’s allegations.

It was then discovered that McMahon also paid $12 million in hush money to quite a few women over the last twenty years. This was what truly drew the ire of many, ultimately leading to McMahon’s downfall.

Vince McMahon took to Twitter last Friday and announced his decision to retire from WWE. While speaking to Graham GSM Matthews of Bleacher Report, Kurt Angle talked about Vince McMahon retiring. Angle stated that he believes McMahon is still an extraordinary human being despite recent allegations.

“I text him five days ago when he decided to retire. I said, ‘Love you, Vince.’ I didn’t want to go into detail, what happened, this and that. He said, ‘I love you too.’ That’s all we said to each other. Vince has always been kind of a father figure to me. We did have a falling out in 2006, but we mended that in 2017 and I love the guy to death. He’s such a great individual. We all make mistakes as human beings and Vince is no different, but he’s an excellent individual.”

Some also believe that Vince McMahon’s retirement is nothing but a farce. It remains to be seen how much WWE will change now. For the time being, WWE doesn’t necessarily want big changes.
