AEW has changed a lot since its inception back in 2019, as the company has improved various aspects so far. The company signed many talents during its initial days, but not all of them remain active in AEW due to injury. Tony Khan has also decided that his company will extend contracts while stars are out with injuries.

It has been a difficult period of time for AEW for the past few months. This is due to the fact that quite a few of their top stars have been injured and on the shelf. This includes CM Punk, Adam Cole and more.

According to Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it was revealed that AEW does, in fact, extend the contracts of their stars while they are out of action due to injury.

If you are wondering if when guys are out of action if AEW can extend their contract like WWE does, their contracts to allow for that and it has happened.
