Alexa Bliss Doesn’t Know The Direction Of Her WWE Character

Ever since Alexa Bliss returned, she has dabbled in the mid-card and main event championship scene on Raw. The Goddess just came off from her run as the demented Bliss character, yet she still carries elements of that. Many are confused about whether the current Bliss is the same twisted one as before.

During her interview with Metro, the former RAW Women’s Champion admitted that even she feels her character is in “limbo” right now. Following various vignettes of her attending therapy, Bliss has continued to carry her supernatural doll, Lilly, while also showing signs that she’s broken away from her supernatural persona.

I’m this limbo right now. I don’t really know where I’m going with my character yet. I kind of evolved so many times in the last nine years, I feel like I’ve had more characters than any other woman on the roster. So now, it’s finding where I fit, what character is needed for the show. Right now, I’m just me, and I don’t like that for TV. I like me for me outside in life, but for TV – Lexi is not entertaining.

I’m stuck trying to figure out what that is. Especially after therapy, after taking away all the aspects of what the dark, evil Alexa was, but still having Lilly and being able to understand that Lilly is now an accessory, not as a focal point.

Whether or not Bliss will still be in limbo after SummerSlam remains to be seen. She did hint at going after the RAW Women’s Championship, so perhaps there is a creative direction for her brewing backstage.
