Two-time WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair has accomplished many things in his illustrious pro wrestling career. Flair remains one of the most well-known but largely polarizing figures in pro wrestling history. He also planned to do a dive to the outside in his final match.

Ric Flair will make his in-ring return on July 31st. The match will be held as part of the huge Starrcast wrestling convention. Flair will team up with Andrade El Idolo and square off against Jay Lethal and Jeff Jarrett in a traditional tag team match.

As revealed by an article written by Marc Raimondi of ESPN, Ric Flair wanted to perform a dive to the outside in his final match. However, Charlotte Flair said she nixed that idea.

“A lot of our men and women in all companies miss those all the time. I was like, ‘No, not needed, not necessary. Wasn’t necessary in your prime, isn’t necessary now. So, no.'”

There is also concern about his health ahead of his final match. Charlotte Flair will also attend her father’s final match. We will have to wait and see how Ric Flair will fare in the last match of his legendary career.
