Brian Cage improved his craft in various promotions before making his way to AEW. The Machine is certainly a very talented in-ring performer, especially for a man of his size. He also made an interesting claim about Tony Khan recently.

Cage was feuding with Team Taz after he was betrayed by them back in July 2021. Cage was usually regularly featured on AEW television, but his wife isn’t a fan of his booking. This led to her ranting about it and got heat on him as well.

Brian Cage has not been absent from AEW television since losing a street fight to Ricky Starks on the October 6th episode of Rampage last year. While speaking with K & S WrestleFest during a virtual signing, Brian Cage claimed that Tony Khan keeps him away from television because he doesn’t want to bury him.

“He (Tony) obviously heard or people thought that I was going to (be on TV again) and he goes, ‘Yeah, people brought that up to me’ and he’s like, ‘No way, I wouldn’t job you out to Wardlow like that. You’re too big of a star to do that too’. So, I mean he paid me a compliment in that regard.

That’s one thing I was talking to him about not being used. I’m like, ‘Dude, this sucks. What’s going on? I wanna wrestle’ and he was just like, ‘Well I could be bringing you on TV and just having you lose to everybody. That would really be burying you as opposed to using you.’ I guess so, and that’s when he brought up the Wardlow thing.”

Cage competed during ROH’s Death Before Dishonor pay-per-view. It remains to be seen what will become of Brian Cage in the end in AEW.
