Last week’s episode of AEW Dynamite was Fyter Fest Week 2, headlined by Chris Jericho and Eddie Kingston facing each other in a “Barbed Wire Everywhere Match.”

It was a bloody and brutal match to close out the show. In the end, Chris Jericho won the match after Anna Jay turned heel during the match, opening the shark cage, allowing Jericho Appreciation Society to escape and enter the ring.

The match was also full of errors, such as Jericho’s blading being caught on camera and Tay Conti’s inability to unlock the shark cage. While speaking on The Jim Cornette Experience, Jim Cornette criticized the match for looking phony.

“It [the Barbed Wire Everywhere match] was embarrassing, it’s phony looking. Obviously outlaw, wrong guy won. All the gimmicks misfired, didn’t work, wouldn’t whatever the case. Guy broke his own nose. What the f**k else could they have done to… in one segment to f**k anything else up?”

We will have to wait and see whether Chris Jericho and Eddie Kingston will continue their feud or not. By the looks of it, it is far from over.
