Bianca Belair started her WWE career as part of the Mae Young Classic tournament before she made a mark in NXT. Belair wasted no time in becoming a big deal in NXT as well. Belair is also determined to write the final chapter in her rivalry with Becky Lynch.
Belair and Becky Lynch’s saga began at WWE SummerSlam last year, where a returning Lynch defeated Belair for the Smackdown Women’s Title in 26 seconds.
Eventually, Belair defeated Lynch for the RAW Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 38 and continues to feud with Lynch even now. She is set to defend her title against Lynch at SummerSlam this month.
While speaking on RAW Talk, JBL talked about Bianca Belair and Becky Lynch’s feud. He compared their feud to boxing legends Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier.
“Great competitors need each other, Ali needed Frazier, The Undertaker needed HBK and I think these two great competitors thrive off each other. I think it’s gonna be a great match up. I’m glad that they’re both in their prime, and we get to watch it, I’m going with EST.”
We will have to wait and see whether Bianca Belair will be able to retain her RAW Women’s Championship against Becky Lynch at WWE SummerSlam or not. Fans would love to see her finally put her rivalry with Lynch to rest after the event.
