AEW is a company that is built around various factions in the style of New Japan Pro Wrestling. From the Dark Order to Best Friends, Team Taz, The Elite, and the Jericho Appreciation Society, it seems like everyone has a group backing them. One of the most prominent of those is the Blackpool Combat Club.
The BCC was started by William Regal with an emphasis on violence. The faction is made up of Bryan Danielson, Jon Moxley, Wheeler Yuta, and Claudio Castagnoli. All but one member currently holds a championship as Regal’s group looks to put a stranglehold on the competition.
A faction with such big names is going to sell a lot of merchandise. While the group has been around for quite some time, AEW just recently filed to trademark it. According to the USPTO, it’s a pretty standard filing.

The BCC will be getting one of its key members back this week. Bryan Danielson has been sidelined with an injury since the Anarchy in the Arena match at May’s Double or Nothing pay-per-view. He has been cleared to compete and will represent the Blackpool Combat Club this Wednesday night on Dynamite.
