WWE has seen its biggest corporate shake-up ever. With the recent retirement of Vince McMahon, Stephanie McMahon and Nick Khan became co-CEOs. Paul “Triple H” Levesque has taken over as head of talent relations. Many are speculating about what that could mean for others in the company.
One person that many are talking about is Paul Heyman. Heyman is known for his creative mind and has a great acumen for telling stories. He could be somebody to watch as the company’s next era falls into place.
Wade Keller recently spoke about Paul Heyman’s prospects on PWTorchVIP.com. It was noted that Heyman and Stephanie McMahon have a great working relationship. That chemistry could lead to some big things down the road for Paul E.
“He ran ECW, he revolutionized the wrestling industry. Without him there is no Attitude Era, I don’t think. And then he has worked with WWE and he butted heads with Stephanie McMahon.
As I’ve talked about in recent months, it seems like to people that have seen them that Heyman and Stephanie get along. You know like, genuinely, there’s a chemistry and a dynamic between them that’s very positive. And that’s very different than you know, 15-20 years ago. So, Heyman is someone to watch. He’s really, really smart. And he is a wrestling guy.”
Paul Heyman has a legendary history of being a great creative mind. Depending on how the power structure of a post-Vince McMahon WWE looks, he could be someone Stephanie and Triple H can count on. It will be interesting to see what happens.
