Seth Rollins’ time in promotions such as Ring Of Honor certainly helped him improve himself prior to making his way to WWE. Rollins’ current obnoxious heel character never fails to annoy fans. On top of that, Rollins really doesn’t do scripted promos as such, just like Roman Reigns.
Seth Rollins last squared off against Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship to kick off the Royal Rumble event. The Visionary played mind games with Reigns as he brought back the Shield gimmick for the match.
The match ended in disqualification after Roman Reigns choked out Rollins without letting him go. Rollins has usually beaten Reigns in big matches, with wins over him at WrestleMania 31 and Money in the Bank 2016 as well.
While speaking with the Hindustan Times, Seth Rollins made it clear that he has unfinished business with Roman Reigns and is certain they’ll cross paths again.
“I live inside his [Roman Reigns] head rent free. So whether or not he’s champion after SummerSlam, there is definitely going to be another Rollins-Reigns match down the road. We have a lot of unfinished business, but most importantly, anytime you see Rollins versus Reigns on the marquee. You know there’s gonna be money involved, you know it’s gonna be big business. So when we get back to it, it’s gonna be huge, it always will.”
We will have to wait and see whether Rollins and Reigns will duke it out in the future again. Fans would love to see the two engage in a long feud next time.
