FTR put their ROH World Tag Team Championship on the line against The Briscoes at Death Before Dishonor last night. The 2 out of 3 falls lasted 43 minutes and involved a lot of dangerous spots.
A ringside doctor came to check on Dax Harwood during the extremely physical bout. Harwood landed pretty hard on his head after The Briscoes hit him with The Doomsday Device.
The 1/2 of FTR commented on the injury scary during the post-Death Before Dishonor media scrum. Harwood noted he was okay and talked about the physicality of the match.
“It’s Saturday, so it depends on the day, I’m dealing with something different every day. Tonight (Jay Briscoe) gave me a Saito Suplex, that is a very very dangerous move, landed kind of high. Hurt my shoulder a while back at Forbidden Door and the doctor asked me before the match how I was feeling, told him the truth.
“He said I just want to make sure everything’s going to be okay for tonight, we did all the tests, and everything was cool but as soon as that happened he just took it upon himself to come to check to make sure the shoulder and the labrum and my neck and everything was cool. I’m okay, I’m okay on Saturday night, ask me tomorrow morning and we’ll see.”
Harwood tore his labrum right before FTR vs. Briscoes I at Supercard of Honor. FTR would go on to win the ROH World Tag Team Championship from Mark and Jay at the pay-per-view event. Keep reading Ringside News for more.
