Cora Jade worked hard and made a name for herself on NXT 2.0. The young star even challenged Mandy Rose for the NXT Women’s Championship but failed to win the title. Her recent heel turn will also come with some extra muscle.

Jade then teamed up with Roxanne Perez and formed Team 2001. The duo captured the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship from Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne at The Great American bash special on NXT 2.0.

Team 2001 imploded after Jade turned on Perez during her title match against Mandy Rose two weeks ago on NXT 2.0. WWE had planned the heel turn for quite some time.

Jade seemingly found a new partner at an NXT 2.0 live show this weekend. WWE held the live event in Cocoa, Florida. A photo from the event showed Jade sitting on the apron with Commander Azeez standing next to her.

It appears that Azeez is Jade’s hired help, since the NXT 2.0 star is no longer aligned with Perez. It appeared that the entire locker room was out to get her during the battle royal last week. Jade threw the NXT Women’s Tag Team title in a trash can last week on NXT 2.0.
