Cody Rhodes became one of the highlights of Monday Night RAW after returning to WWE at WrestleMania 38. He went on to have solid matches with Seth Rollins and elevated himself. Ric Flair also wants Cody Rhodes to be a world champion after his WWE return.

The American Nightmare was on a roll since his return, but has not been seen since Hell In A Cell due to injury. Rhodes also can be outspoken when he feels like it and is never afraid to call out his peers.

While speaking on his To Be The Man podcast, WWE Hall Of Famer Ric Flair stated that he believes Cody Rhodes should be a champion after returning from injury.

”Well, there again, if I’m thinking and seeing how well he was received. I mean he proved himself to be in that category of the word ‘great.’ He and Seth had some gangbuster matches. I may not see eye-to-eye with Seth Rollins, but he really did right by Cody. To me, I’d take him [Cody] through it and eventually make him a champion. He’s got the look, because you know me, I’m a big fan of getting dressed up and all that (…) he carries himself like a businessman and champion. A lot of things about him I really like.”

Rhodes is on the shelf after he got surgery for his torn pectoral muscle. WWE even filmed Cody Rhodes’ entire surgery for later use. We’ll have to see what WWE will have planned for Rhodes after he comes back. Perhaps a world title run might be in the making.
