WWE announced today that Triple H has returned to his role as Executive Vice President of Talent Relations. Previously, Bruce Pritchard was filling the role temporarily. John Laurinaitis had the job before but is currently on administrative leave due to his possible involvement in the Vince McMahon hush money scandal.

With Paul Levesque returning to his EVP position, some pieces had to be moved. Pritchard will go back to his previous job in creative. It seems as though Johnny Ace is done with the company.

Sean Sapp reported behind Fightful’s paywall that John Laurinaitis is effectively gone. Pritchard will be replaced by Paul Levesque. WWE expects The Game to adapt to the company’s latest hiring practices.

During Triple H’s previous tenure, he focused heavily on recruiting the top independent talent from around the world. Things have changed quite a bit since then. WWE does plan to continue focusing on young, athletic talent.

WWE fans are largely excited about the return of Triple H. Many remember his time as the head of NXT being one of the most entertaining periods for the brand. The WWE Hall of Famer will join his wife, Stephanie McMahon, in prominent positions of power in the company.

Only time will tell what changes might come with Triple H back in power. There could be a very minimal difference. There may also be sweeping change, but the WWE Universe might not want to hold its collective breath.
