Seth Rollins and Bray Wyatt faced each other in a 2019 Hell in a Cell match. Fans had a lot of expectations from the match, but it was all for nothing in the end. Rollins also believes he and Wyatt had a chip on their shoulders.

The match remains one of the most-hated matches in recent memory, as the ending simply made no sense whatsoever. A Hell in a Cell match ending in disqualification simply baffled fans.

However, both of them were genuinely top stars in WWE for a long time. While speaking to Metro.co.uk, Seth Rollins said he believes he and Wyatt had a chip on their shoulders as they were never John Cena.

“One thing he and I always had was a little bit of a chip on our shoulder as far as, we were never the guy. We were never a Cena, we were never a Roman, and so we couldn’t be static. We had to change; we had to evolve to be relevant constantly. There was always some sort of struggle, and there was a bond in that struggle that we always had – I think. ‘We go in separate directions and do different things, but at the end of the day, there’s always a connection there.”

We will have to wait and see if Wyatt will ever square off against Seth Rollins in the future. Fans would love to see them duke it out in a proper match this time around.
