Mandy Rose Always Envisioned Her Character To Be Like Trish Stratus

Trish Stratus is considered one of the most significant female WWE Superstars in the history of the company. For many fans and peers, Stratus is a pioneer when it comes to the overall growth of the women’s division in WWE. Mandy Rose also believes her character is similar to Trish Stratus.

For a long time, fans only thought of Mandy Rose as eye candy who had zero capabilities as an in-ring competitor. Rose proved them all wrong after winning the NXT Women’s Championship.

Mandy Rose has also been compared to Trish Stratus quite a few times already. While speaking on After The Bell, Rose said that she believes her current character is very similar to Trish Stratus, molding it as such.

“Obviously I’m super athletic and I’ve always envisioned my character to be somewhat like Trish Stratus, right? So like basically, you know, I have the looks but I can back it up in the ring and I can, you know, showcase my true talent and all my abilities. So I think going back to NXT was just a way for me to like kind of start fresh and kind of rebrand my character a little bit and kind of just create a little more edginess to my character.”

Trish Stratus also wants to make a return to WWE in an authority role. We wonder whether Stratus and Mandy Rose will face each other. Only time will tell whether that will actually end up happening or not.
